Hi there. Popping in again today to share another card created from the Online Card Class-Background Check.
This time I've played with Jennifer McGuire's Embossed Resist on patterned paper technique.
This is the paper I used ... it's called Splish Splash :)
Love that sweet Lawn Fawn Scripty Hugs Die.
I will link this up in the OCC Gallery and the SSS Wed Challenge where Anything Goes.
Back tomorrow with a card for the awesome Scrapbook Boutique!
See you then...

It's been a whole WEEK since I posted anything on my blog! Shock, horror!
That's a while between "drinks" and doesn't happen very often. I've been away for the week spending precious time with my Mum :)
Have had some time today to play with my water colours after catching up on my lessons over at the current Online Card Class - creating Backgrounds.
Couldn't wait to try out Kristina's water colouring ideas and ended up with 3 cards to share:)
Also had fun ink blending the Altenew "hello" on this card...a la Laura Bassen's Day 1 class ideas:)
There's a vellum heart behind the hello above....bit hard to see...
I shall link these up for the SSS Wed Challenge where Anything Goes:)
I'm popping over to share these in the OCC gallery and have some fun checking out everyone else's gorgeous cards.
Bye for now...

Hi there - I hope your weekend is off to a great start:)
Just popping in to share a recently created card inspired by Laura Bassen's blending technique....
I certainly had lots of ink blending fun with this one :)
I use a mixture of inks - both Distress and Memento usually and they work beautifully.
Thanks for dropping in to see what I've been up to.

I've had heaps of fun for Scrapbook Boutique playing with MFT's Modern Blooms Stamp Set.
I've heat embossed the blooms before indulging in a little water colouring...
there's a full step by step over at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.
Hope you're having a fabulous week!
See you again soon...

Never a happy card to make but I am trying to have a few sympathy cards in my stash
for when I unfortunately may need one -
The stencil is from Kaisercraft and the sentiment is from Penny Black's Heartfelt Stamp Set.
I've blended with white pigment ink first before moving the stencil a titch and blending with Distress Inks Faded Jeans, Pumice Stone and Tumbled Glass.
Have a great start to the weekend!
