Hey there - happy weekend to you!
I'm popping in today to share a sweet little Kaisercraft Birdhouse I made in a class at Kaisercraft Robina over the holidays. It was so much fun, painting and modge podging and cutting and pasting:-)
The birdhouse roof is adhered in such a way that you can then place one of the Kaisercraft wooden albums in the top.......here's plenty of pics from all angles to show you what I mean.....
We used the beautiful KC Bonjour Collection for our project.....
The little punched out picket fence is made more stable with a thin sheet of acetate backing it.
Here's a back view....
....and the album that sits in the top......love this quote from the KC Family Rub-Ons.....
.....oh my babies have grown!!
I loved the process of this project so much I'm now attacking another KC wooden album with those beautiful family Rub-Ons and the gorgeous Chapter One paper pad.
Thanks for popping in!

I hope if you're an Aussie you've had a wonderful Australia Day and have celebrated all that is wonderful about living in the greatest country in the world:-) We did!
For those of you in other parts of the world - I hope your day has been equally great:-)
Onto the cardmaking side of things.......
...........Oh how I loved the fine and Dandy range from MME.....

Some of my absolute favourite papers EVER I think :-)....because of that gorgeous turquoise!
I have 3 cards created with this range published in the current issue of Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine - Vol 18 No 1.
Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of my cards before I sent them in so now all I have are the mag pics to share...I guess they're better than nothing:-)
I wish there was more to share tonight but lately it's all been for Manor House Creations and Shop and Crop....and I can't quite show anything just yet:-))
I'll be back with the Febraury Kit for Shop and Crop in just a few days though....here's a little peek -
....Echo Park's Yours Truly range is fun fun fun to work with:-))
Bye for now.......happy Friday to you all!

Hey there....how's your day going?
It is a VERY wet day here...we've had inches of rain overnight and there's a severe weather warning for today so glad I can stay inside all dry and cozy:-))
Here is my photo for today for the January Photo Challenge....the prompt just happened to be WATER - well there's heaps of that around today....this is what our pergola looks like.....
Last night I had heaps of fun playing with the new challenge over at Once Upon A Sketch. Here are all the details -
I love the idea of this journalling prompt so much I'm going to create another layout for "Hello 2012". I may even get to play a little today:-)
Hope your day is awesome too!

Hey there.....hope you've had a great Friday!
I'm popping in tonight to share another card I created for the current SHABBY TEA ROOM Challenge....remember this delightful inspiration pic....
....and the other inclusion was to be something to do with sewing...in my case fabric and twine.....
Papers are MME Lost and Found Breeze collection, as is the sentiment strip and the birdy brad.
Love that sweet little bird - created with the Stampin' Up! bird and branch punch.
Also love that gorge Want to Scrap Nest-a-bling:-))
Here are my photos for the January Photo Challenge too....
Jan 12 - a close up - Tara hated having the camera in her face - as you can see!
...and today - what's in my bag.....
....nothing too exciting there -wallet/shopping list/coin purse/pen and phone.
Do you have a lovely weekend planned? Mine will be busy - off to brunch tomorrow, then an evening BBQ then lunch again on Sunday - phew, should be good! Won't be much crafty time though ;-))
Enjoy whatever you get up to.

Hey there....hope your week is going well.
We signed off on our new kitchen this afternoon so that's been a huge learning curve and a big decision to make but it's all set to go now - can't WAIT !!
I've been playing with the sweet Simple Stories Baby Steps range and have created a layout and a card.
I thought the card worked well for this week's The Shabby Tea Room Challenge which is 'Vintage Boudiour' and this gorgeous inspiration pic....what a fab piece of furniture!!
Here they are....
The Shabby Tea Room Challenge also requires you use a sewing related item.....my seam binding.... the teeny measuring tape detail and the faux stitched button and heart elements.
I also have my last couple of pics for the January Photo Challenge....here it is.....
....and my pics for the 9th, 10th and 11th....
My Daily Routine always involves cleaning up this.....
so that it looks more like this......aaaaagh I hate that it is a dumping ground for DH and the teens!!
Something from Childhood for the 10th....
....Mum gave me this little Scottish doll when I was in hospital, having a cyst removed....it's 37years old now!
...and for today - where I sleep....
Alrighty, good for you if you're still with me - phew!
See you again soon.....I'm off to play with another card for The Shabby Tea Room - I love that inspiration pic so much:-))

I am popping in tonight to share another card for Manor House Creations this time using one of the bee-utiful Chocolate Prior Rose flowers and some sweet Cutie Pies....
...the Prior Roses have such a great texture to them!
...and these little Cutie Pies are so darn cute - very aptly named:-))
The focal point is a Crafty Secrets piece and the sentiment is from Stampendous.
Love those MHC leaves too....I've shabbied mine up a little with cream paint.
Thanks for visiting me today....I'll be back with more to share again soon.

Hey there....how has your Sunday been?
We headed up to Mt Tamborine today for a lovely lunch and a wander around...beautiful:-))
It was a hot, sunny day here....my January Photo Challenge photo proves it - take one look at this sky....
I'm back tonight to share my second attempt at the current Once Upon A Sketch challenge...and this one I am MUCH happier with:-)
Here's the sketch again....
...remember the journalling prompt is your feelings at this time of a New Year....I can't help but think about my kiddos and the big year they both have ahead of them....
Flowers from Manor House Creations, Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks for visiting.....I'll be back with more soon.

Hey there...hope your weekend is off to a good start.
It's busy here. We're about to renovate our kitchen so it's go, go, go working with designers, trying to make decisions who to go with, shopping for appliances blah, blah, blah.
It's nice to come home at the end of the day and dabble with some sweet scrapping supplies:-) Like these from Simple Stories Life Documented range. I used the current sketch up over at Once Upon A Sketch which looks like this.....
Thr journalling prompt is.....
Must admit - I'm not overly wrapt with this layout....just not really sure I like it that much.
But it's another memory documented and some thoughts down on paper and that's what counts right lol.
Tonight I'm going to play with the sketch again (cause I do love it) and see if I can do justice to it this time....wish me luck!
Before I go - here are my latest photos for the January Photo challenge....
From yesterday - a pic of something that makes me happy - this frame full of pics on our bedroom wall:-)
And today - a favourite of mine....my peg board for storage in my scraproom -
Thanks for popping in to my little bloggo....hope you'll be back soon.

Hey there...today I have a layout to share for the January Sketch Challenge at Manor House Creations. It's a great sketch from Monika ....
I loved it so much I couldn't resist creating a layout.....to show DD's Xmas Wish List.....
Lots of her wishes came true.....but not the treadmill....or the braces.....although the braces could come off this month - fingers crossed :-))
Papers are of course from Manor House Creations - from the Scrap Cake's Cozy Xmas range.
Love the MHC flowers....I've used Taneisha (the pick one above); a red Velvetine; some Esperence and Airlie Blossoms (the aqua/white and grey above); and a Shimmers Snow....originally white but then glittered and glimmer misted to suit the layout.
Something else to share today is this....
I thought this would be a fun way to start the year....so here are my photos for Jan 1 and 2.....
In my scraproom surfing blogs yesterday.....
and brekky this morning...my version of bircher muesli.
I'll be back tomorrow to share my card for the current Card Patterns sketch....have a great night.
