Back again playing with Colour Temperatures over at MFT's Summer School Lesson #15.
My card is full of cool colours- a water coloured wonderland of blues and greens.
Inspiration came from the fabulous Gayatri Murali and a die-cutting feature I saw in Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine.
I've used the MFT Dies - Stars; Magical Memories and Party Balloons.
I'm also going to join in at -
*The SSS Work it Wednesday Challenge-use DIE CUTS:)
*Bizzy Bec's August Challenge where Anything Goes.
and the *Create Something Catchy Watercolour Challenge for August :)
Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you again soon :)

Love my MFT Blueprints 26 Dies and have had fun making another birthday card.
I sponged some green and blue Memento Inks onto the background and splattered over this with white paint.
I randomly water coloured a few pieces of wc card and die cut the gorgeous round balloons from them. A touch of ink blending around the edges of the balloons added a different effect.
The yellow spotty paper from Echo Park's Birthday Wishes Girl Paper Pad was perfect for the die cut sentiments - "happy" from MFT's Brushstroke Birthday Greetings and "Birthday" from the Blueprints 26 die set.
I will enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge- where Summer is the inspiration - I love these beautiful summer colours of green, yellow and blue.
See you again soon...

Hey there - Welcome to the Scrapbook Boutique August Blog Hop and Challenge.
There are two fun things for you to do - the Blog Hop and the Challenge -
You have one week....the hop closes midday August 17 and the winner will be announced on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog on August 18. Good Luck!
(Head back to the SB Blog if you lose your way - you'll find the complete Blog Hop list....hop and challenge open to Australian residents only.)
Next - pull out your craft supplies and get busy with this month's Inspiration Challenge - it's a beauty!
Love the impact of these colours! Here's my card...
* THE STEPS - I stamped the Modern Blooms with Versa Mark ink on the chevron patterned paper and heat embossed in clear embossing powder.
I then squished the Memento Ink Pad all over the card front to cover the paper where there was no embossing to resist it. A quick wipe over with a clean cloth and your background is ready.
I added some white gel pen dots to the bottom section for a bit more contrast.
You have until August 31 to get your entry in.
The randomly chosen winner will receive a $30 Gift Voucher to Scrapbook Boutique -
what an awesome prize!
Full details and linking instructions over on the blog.
Can't wait to check out your creations.....have fun!
