Keeping it simple

A very simple card for you today taken from the current Stampin' Up! Idea Book and 41 to be exact:0)) This little bird is my fave from the Fun and Fast Notes set...well, him and the hedgehog come a dead heat in the cuteness stakes.

Not sure that this pic shows the colours too well....the background card is Soft Sky and I have pieced the bird out of the same card so he would match perfectly. I love it when things match perfectly you see;0) The tiny tag is cut with my Cuttlebug...another great toy I just love to play with.

Have you had some creating time today? I hope so, it's soooo good for the soul.

Bye for now

DD's favourite card

This is my darling daughter's favourite card. She loves the bright colours. I got the idea for this card from Laura Fredrickson....she is brimming with inspiration for me.

The Big Deal Alpha letters are embossed and I have dotted them with my white gel pen.

The white background has a touch of colour using the Itty Bitty Background filling in the base of a card with them.

Hope you are having a great day.

Bye for now....

Box of Cards

Now that I am right back into my card making I am getting quite a pile of cards. I decided that as part of my Mother's Day present for my Mum I would give her a box of handmade cards for a range of occasions. This is the box I decorated to contain the cards.

You've probably noticed by now that I love scallops. It's an addiction...a sickness. I put them on everything, can't help myself. i just love the finishing touch they add to a piece.

Well that's enough of me for today. Hope you have a great one.

See you tomorrow:-)

A work in progress....

Here's a little chipboard album I'm working on....full of favourite family photos. Using all Stampin' Up! products. Love the Designer Series papers in Close to Cocoa and Rose Red...such gorgeous colours together. Very simple embellies - Big Deal Alpha stamps for the title, patterned paper, the round tab punch for dates, scallop punch for jouurnalling and small stamped images from A Little Bit of Happiness. Here's the front cover and the first couple of pages as they will sit in the album.

Hope you're having a great day and that you make some time to create. I know I will:0))
