Another Sketch Challenge:-)

Told you I was enjoying sketch challenges:-))'s another one. This may just be one of the quickest cards I've ever made....for Amy Rysavy's sketch challenge this time. Amyrs36

The sketch looks like this.....

and my card turned out like this...........

I had fun with the Always stamp set from SU! and Spring Fling's so pretty:-)

I hope you've had a lovely Sunday.

We went for a drive down the coast and had fish and chips at was lovely...long time since we've done that.

I'll be back again tomorrow....see you then:-)

Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men

...little weeeed! Remember that high pitched little voice in the ABC TV show Bill and Ben? I certainly do. DD doesn't but she knew enough about them to want to do this......Bill_and_benwm

DH took a bit of convincing to cut the bottom off the brand new pots but in all these years of dress-up parades we have not spent a cent so we talked him round;-)

They were 2 very happy chappies in their get-up and the grins say it all I think.

Lots of SU! Summer Picnic DSP and the Die Cut Blooms. Real Red and Soft Sky ribbons and buttons and string from my stash.

Journalling on the pull out tag tucked into the right hand side.

I am keen to attack a card sketch or two tonight so wish me luck. Hope you've had some creative time today also.

See you again soon.

Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #55

I am really enjoying taking part in a few challenges when I have time and I think sketch challenges appeal to me more than colour this point....I try both but with a sketch I take less time to get going...iykwim:-) This is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge # 55....

which looks like this......

I still have some bits and pieces left from my Secret Garden Scrapping Kit so thought I'd team them up with this image from SU! Mostly that set:-)

I've heat embossed the square images ....that's one of the reasons I love this set, they work so well with embossing.

Img_7166 Hopefully you can see the embossing a little better here.

Well I've really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house tonight as I've played in my scrap room....but now it's after midnight and time I hit the hay. I really wish we didn't need sleep...much more fun to stamp and scrap:-)

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Boy on a Bike

Hey's Friday!!! And even better than that it's Friday favourite time of the week:-)))

Isn't this just the cutest little pic? What a gorgeous grin on my nephew Joseph's face...he's a character!

Joey_8x8 This is another of those layouts I created for my Mother In Laws 2008 calendar. An 8"x8"....such an easy size to work with.

Just some sewing on the patterned papers, a chipboard tag with rub ons for Jo's name and a clear quote sticker with a thin yellow frame to highlight it and I'm done:-)

So what are you working on tonight?

I have a card very nearly finished and then plans to scrapbook my DD and her friend dressed as "Bill and Ben" for the Book Week dress up parade at their school yesterday....they got a Highly Commended..not happy being pipped at the post by "Humpty Dumpty" but them's the breaks huh:-)))

Alright I'm off...thanks for stopping having visitors!!
