Christmas Cards

Hey there...hope you're enjoying your Tuesday. We had dear friends over for lunch today and it was a lovely, relaxing catch up....that's what holidays are for huh:-)

Last night I had so much fun making these 2 Christmas cards. Using lots of bits and pieces left over from last year's Christmas layouts and mixing them with Stampin' Up! Spring Fling DSP....I have a soft spot for green and pink together.

Sparkle_xmas_card_1wm Chipboard is Creative Imaginations range from last Xmas and the glitter heart and stars are Making Memories.

Well, I'm off to make another card or two.

Hope you have some crafty time tonight too.

Bye for now...

Isabel Layout

Hey there...hope you're having a good start to the week. It was a hot one here today in SE QLD..."the boys" played 19 holes of golf and came home absolutely wrecked. Tiahne and I on the other hand braved the air conditioned shops:0)) Nothing more exciting than groceries though:(...still it beat the heat. I've just taken the dogs for an afternoon walk and they are now completely exhausted, panting flat out on the cold tiles.

Here's a new layout for you, another for the Xmas calendars. Meet Isabel, our darling little niece, born in June. Isabel_4_calendarwm

Gorgeous, soft colours from SU!'s Spring Fling DSP; a SU! blossom from the Pretties Kit; some sewing; little Cuttlebugged circles; lots of soft inking around the edges and a punched border with Fiskars Threading Water Punch.

Thanks for popping in to see what I've been up to. I am working on a couple of Xmas Cards to show you soon. I am determined to make all our Xmas Cards this year and that is not going to be easy with 24 layouts to scrap for 2 Christmas Calendars and a 40th Birthday Album to scrap for my little bro whose birthday is Dec 27. Soooo, that means I have to start chipping away at the Xmas Cards now and that's exactly what I plan to do....using up lots of bits left over from last Xmas.

Hope to have a couple to show you tomorrow. See you then....

Card for Carla's Tutorial

Hey there...how's your Sunday afternoon going?

We have had a very quiet home day as DD is getting over a tummy bug...thankfully she's much better today than yesterday. So I've been catching up on washing, dusting, dog washing and.......card making:-))

I saw that Carla had a card tutorial up on her blog and I do  l o v e  her work so I couldn't resist having a play. I dug through my stash and used some Basic Grey papers from the Sugared line; Fancy Pants Felt Flower; SU! Purely Pomegranate Ribbon; Sentiment from SU!'s Sincere Salutations; Kaisercraft Pink Pearls; SU! Cream Pearls from Pretties Kit.... and the string....off DS's clothes he got at Rivers today:0)))

Moralies_card_tut I've included a close up so you can see the dimension.

If you haven't been to Carla's blog yet you should have a squiz...it is fabulous and her work is soooo amazing....I am in awe of it.
