Kraft Cuttlebugged Trees

Hey there...how are you this evening?

I hope you've had a great day. The weekend is nearly upon us...yippee!!

I've had another play tonight with my Christmas Tree Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and matching die....here's a look...

Believe Kraft

I had some spare trees already cut so I just used them with the spotted background on Kraft again. Used my big Provo Craft scissors to cut the scalloped edge (:-) thanks Melissa)...I won them on her blog....and then blinged up a sentiment stamp with two way glue and Dazzling Diamonds....spots of the same are on the scalloped snowy base too.

One day I just might get to experience a White Christmas like this...wouldn't that be something:0)) I've pretty much been in QLD for every Christmas of my life so far- bar one or two spent down south where it was still blooming hot. Oh except for the Chrissy I spent in Tassie when it did actually snow on Cradle Mountain except we were in Port Arthur at the time...it was a cold Christmas though which was quite novel for me....the whole Christmas Roast dinner and Hot Pudding went down a treat....much more enjoyable when you need some warming up.LOL.

Wonder what we'll have for Christmas dinner this year? Hmmm haven't even thought about that yet. The kids are keen to stay home this year so it might just be the 4 of us enjoying Home Sweet Home.....we haven't done that too many times either so it's quite a treat having a quiet family Christmas in our own home.

Well, enough chit chat from me....time to get creative a little more before the eyelids won't cooperate any longer.

Happy Friday everyone...thanks for popping by!

Cute Cuttlebugged Xmas Trees

Hey there - how are you today?

A quick little card to show you today inspired by Jennifer McGuire...on her card she used Hero Arts stamps to create her trees. Yes, I would love those too of course but a girl can't have everything now can she?! Such a shame that:0) Anyway, I do have the cutie patootie Cuttlebug trees so I've put them to good use here....

Cuttlebug Xmas Trees Isn't Kraft card popular at the moment? Thought I'd get in on the act too:0)) The SU! Kraft base is stamped with the SU! Polka Dot background (a new favourite) using Craft Whisper White; the sentiment is by Kaisercraft; SU! gingham ribbon and sequins in my stash. Here's a close up...

and a peek at the inside...you see the white "snowy" base holds the top flap down and you can pop a note or little photo in there...I grabbed a tiny pic of my family to pop inside....Mum, Dad and us 4 siblings taken May last year.

Such a cute little card and didn't take me long at all...I'll be putting together a few more like that for Chrissy.

Well the day is going so quickly...must run and get a few more jobs done.

Thanks for popping by:-))

Just another manic Monday...

whoawoah....wish it were Sunday....whoawoah...

remember The Bangles:0)

Well that was how my day felt today.....thank the lord for my little scraproom to bring me some peace at the end of a day like today.

I've finished another layout for my Mum-in-Law's Xmas Calendar.....my DH with DD on Easter Sunday this year - being silly with Easter Eggs.

Happy Easter 4 Calendar  Papers are Making Memories (scalloped edge) and Fancy pants (striped); swirly stamp is from Hot off The Press; "Happy" is stamped with Karen Foster Snap-Stamps (thanks Vyc:-));  SU! Big Deal Alpha for large lettering stamped with Versa Mark on Basic Grey Urban Prairie papers; Basic Grey brads and felt flower from Making Memories.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday...hope I do too:0)))

Thanks for visiting!

Beate's W'End Sketch #63

Hey there...how's your Sunday going?

We have had a lovely day. DD and I headed off to the shops to start looking for a dress for her Year 7 presentation night coming up at the end of term. How lucky were we to come home with a dress that she is absolutely delighted with....and so am I:0)) Pretty good effort I say. Our hunt for shoes was not as successful but we'll venture further next weekend.

I've had a chance to play with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge....here's the sketch....

 wsc63.jpgand here's my card.

Urban Prairie Hi!

Using my 6x6" Urban Prairie paper pad again....so easy to put a card together with all those matching papers. SU! Rub-Ons (flower and sentiment) punched out wth the SU! scallop punch....a perfect fit:0))

I hope you've also had a lovely Sunday and are all ready to tackle another working week.

Thanks for checking out my blog...see you again tomorrow.
