Sensational Sunday

IMG_7973

Hey there...how was your weekend?

I hope you've had a great one:0) Just as DD planned we did put up the Chrissy tree and decorated the house and it was fun. It was lovely to have DS more involved this year and more interested in helping out and playing a bigger part...I loved that! Loved listening to carols as we worked and we were all singing and humming along...feels like Christmas now:0)

This afternoon I've had a play with Taylor's sketch #44....again.....I just love this sketch, what can I say:)

TECC44Xmas

I have totally CASED a beautiful card by Karen Giron....here's her blog The Sweetest Thing .....that's exactly what I thought her card was - so I changed the papers around, did lots of inking and here's my version....another Chrissy card for the pile...yippee!

Well, another busy week begins and I hope for you it will be a great one. I'll be back with more creativity to share tomorrow.

Thanks heaps for visiting me today...bye for now:-)

Bali Breeze Card

TECC44 Close Up

Hey there...it's me again! Thought I'd show you the card I've just finished before I go to bed...I've had a fun night:-))

I fell in love with Taylor's latest sketch and had a great play with my Bali Breeze DSP and my Boho Background medallion stamp....love that thing...so cool for layering:-)

Here's the whole card.....

TECC44

The only things not SU! are the white flower chain from Doodlebug and the sentiment stamp from MSE. Love these colours together....Taken With Teal/Rose Red/Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive....this paper features them all so beautifully....love it!

Okay, off to clean up my desk...a must after every creation in my world....and then I'm off to bed. DD is keen to put up the Chrissy tree tomorrow (that's your fault Nic!!!)...I thought we might leave it til next weekend but apparently not! So, big day of decorating in store for us tomorrow. Hope you have a fun Sunday whatever you get up to.

See you with some creativity once the decorating's done.

Cupcakeabella...isn't she sweet!

Cupcake Card CloseUp

Hey there papercrafters....how are you today? I've had a great day workshopping with an awesome group of ladies today...Hi Nic, Ronni, Jane, Janelle, Jodi and Ursula. We had lots of fun scrapping a Xmas layout and wow they did a great job.....so much fun to see how everyone takes an idea and makes it their own....some of these ladies have scarcely scrapped before and each time we do they get more and more brave....I LOVE that:0))

This afternoon I finished this birthday card....

Cupcake Card

...I love the way this one turned out:-) Stamp of course is Cupcakeabella coloured with my SU! markers and all layers were sponged with Pretty in Pink Ink. Dazzling Diamonds blings up the cupcake base. PP is from BG's Urban Prairie 6x6" pad, taffeta ribbon from SU! and sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly. A piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock has been scalloped with the SU! scallop edge punch and the Regal Rose background card is embossed with the CBug Spots and Dots EF.

Well the night is but young and my mind is swirling with creative ideas so i'm off to put them to good use.

Thanks for visiting my blog today...great to "see" you.

Back tomorrow....

Graduation Layout

Hey there - how are you today?

Well this was a pretty quick one but that's not such a bad thing for a change is it:-))

Another 8 x 8" layout for my Mum-in-Law's 2009 Calendar....her eldest grandson off to his Year 12 formal a couple of weeks ago....they make a stunning couple don't you think?...and what about that gorgeous car:-)

Todd's Graduation

Papers are Kaisercraft, congrats stamp is SU!, punched with the SU! Scallop Square Punch and the scroll is clip art....well I needed something graduation specific so.....LOL.

I'm off to get busy preparing for a workshop I have tomorrow. I hope you have a great Friday....

Thanks for visiting my blog.

See you again tomorrow.
