A Happy Scramper

Another working week begins....

Wow how fast are the weeks going by??? Can't believe only 2 weeks of school left and it's the Easter hols...woohoo!

I have another card using the simply scrumptious BG Porcelain range today...can't get enough of that paper I tell ya:-))

 

I started off using this sketch from Splitcoast Stampers....

and then it sort of transformed before my eyes into what you now see.....well that's what happens with sketches I guess:-)

Ribbons are SU!'s Taffeta range and the stamp is the fabbo Say It Again set from Inque Boutique...I got these from SCRAP PILE and I absolutely love them and am finding them incredibly useful for my card making.

Golf Card

Hey there...how are you today?

Just popped in quickly to show you DS's birthday card...I had some fun with clip art and paper piecing for my golf crazy boy.....

 

Just used paper scraps and pieced each separate detail of the card....matched the golf bag to DS's own bag for fun:-)

Okay, hope you're enjoying a beautiful weekend....getting some lovely showers of rain here this morning so it's a great day to stay inside and create:-))

SU! Card using 2S4Y Sketch:0)

Hey there....how are you on this gorgeous Friday afternoon??? It's just the best time of the week isn't it:-)))

I have a card to show you created from the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch.....it looks like this....

 ....I turned the sketch on the side and created a SU! only card using some of my fave DSP....

   

Stamp is SU!'s Eastern Blooms, embossed with Black EP; papers are from the Bali Breeze DSP pack; SU! punch and sentiment rub on.

I hope you have a lovely weekend whatever you get up to. I may be a little scarce with DS's 15th birthday and 5x 15 year old boys here for 24 hours.....should be big!

Happy Hump Day to you!

Hey there....I hope you're having a good hump day. I always have a GREAT hump day cause I don't go to work. Not that I don't love work (most of the time anyway) but gee it's so lovely to have a day to do what I want to do...well mostly, when DH isn't sending me off to the car place, or the bank, or ....you know what I mean don't you.

I have just received some mighty happy mail this morn...my first order of SU! products from the new catty. As a demo you know we can order from a short list of products prior to the April 1 release to customers...gives us some time to play and make some gorgeous smorgeous projects to share with you...hopefully. So I won't be rambling here long....fun to be had!

Hey there...how are you today???

Well it's not like I've been gone for long but it has been a while since I've posted...not at all like me really. With Mum visiting last week there just wasn't time to create so I had nothing new to share....

but I have now:-))

Up at Scrap Pile this week Simonne has a sketch for her challenge and I loved it as soon as I saw it.

So I made myself busy and created a layout about my Mum using photos I had just taken....

    

The photo of the layout is not the greatest I'm afraid but I hope you get the idea. 

Something I really enjoyed doing for this layout was stamping the flower accents using a SU! set I just received....Bodacious Bouquet. I had never really been interested in this set until this incredibly creative girl, Jane Jones, made some cards with it and I was impressed....the fact that 50% of what I paid for it went to the Bushfire Appeal  sealed the deal for me :-))

A Sketch and a Challenge

Hey there...how are you today?

I haven't managed to post as often this week as I've been fighting an exhausting cold but thankfully I've won the battle lol and am now feeling much more like my normal self....phew, that is sooooo good:-))

I've got 2 items I'd love to share with you this afternoon....the first is a card I completed for Scrap Pile for the new Queen of Cards competition on each month. Whoever creates the most cards each month wins a Scrap Pile Gift Voucher...wouldn't that be great! So to enthuse everyone last week I put up this sketch, created especially for us at Scrap Pile by Ally at So Sketchy....

...using Basic Grey's Porcelain papers...love them so much:-); a SU! stamp and punch and Carl Butterfly Punch.

Next I have my March DT challenge item for Scrap Pile...using another sketch, this time one of Valerie Salmon's sketches that she has given us permission to use....

  ...isn't that a gorgeous sketch...I just fell in love with it.....and here's my card.....  

using BG Porcelain PP's again and chipboard stickers....I adore this new BG range.

Money Wallet Card

Hey there...how are you tonight?

I hope you've had a great Tuesday. I'm very thankful I'm off work tomorrow as I'm fighting off a cold and feel really crappy to say the least:-(

Just a quick share tonight...I made this Money Wallet for one of DD's friends for her recent 13th birthday....I love being able to give $$ (which older kids seem to like) but this way you can personalise it a bit which I also like:-)

 

DD chose the PP's I used from the SU! Bali Breeze DSP pack....that's her definite fave:-)

Basic Grey Porcelain

I fell in love with this beautiful paper the moment I saw it...such delicate soft colours and patterns....it is just delightful....and so perfect with lace, and cream and distressing...all those things I love:-)

Here is my latest DT project for Scrap Pile....had so much fun watercolouring again...it's been a while

I received 2 Sarah Kay stamps for my birthday as I have been admiring them for ages...so much fun to watercolour with my SU! markers.

I am in the middle of so many little projects this weekend...my to-do list is getting longer and longer LOL.  How lucky am I that it's all so much fun:-)

Teresa Collins for Tuesday

Hey there...how are you tonight? I hope you've had a fantastic day....mine was pretty good so happy about that.

Looking forward to a day of doing more what I want to do tomorrow though...which will include some crafting and lunch with a friend....oh yeh, have to do the washing and some school work but still lots of good stuff as well.

I have another of my DT cards for Scrap Pile...this time using Teresa Collins Crush Sweetheart Tags and the spotted PP that's on the reverse side...lovely stuff.

   

Prima leaves, Cuttlebug Butterfly die, mixed flowers from Spotlight; bead spacers; Pink Paislee letters.

This is my first DT card for this month at Scrap Pile....using BG's Bittersweet 6x6 paper pad...such luscious colours and patterns...it's so yummy.
