Doily Delights

Websters Paper Doily Card narrow

Well it's Tuesday night already...the week seems to be going quickly doesn't it:-)

I'm popping in to share a card that's in the latest Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine....I had lots of fun glittering up a doily....which I'd seen done on Anabelle O'Malley's blog.

Always fun to play with Websters Papers too....Papertrey Ink sentiments.....and seam binding....and Nestability Lacey Circles and sweet little Prima flowers:-))

My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenge

Feeling Groovy narrow

I am back to share my card for the My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch and the deets...

Along with the sketch, you must use this theme: Song Lyrics – you choose the song! (be sure to credit the artist{s})....

I wanted to use the MME Gertie range....and the doily stamps and colours looked pretty groovy which led me to use the song lyrics from Simon and Garfunkel's - "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)".

Feeling Groovy
Well you can't say it's not bright!

...and after that I'm yearning to play with something soft and shabby so that's what I'm off to do....

see you again soon!

A couple of cards....

Issy's B'Day Card narrow

Hey there....Friday's here! :) Woohoo!

I have a couple of cards to share tonight......a birthday card for a niece turning 3 and a sympathy card to go up for sale at Aussie Cards for Sale.

The birthday first....using the sweet little Strawberry Girl from Mo Manning...it's the first time I've used this image and it was heaps of fun to colour.....she reminds us of little cousin Issy:-)

The sympathy card I've created with the gorgeous Prima Madeline A4 Paper Stack I purchased at the Papercraft Expo last weekend....oh it's yummmy:-)

I fell in love with the Nestablings from Want 2 Scrap...mine are the sweet little shaped blings that fit the Fancy Tags Two Nesties.

The sentiment is from the Stampendous set Sincere Sentiments.

Sympathy card

Large flower from Prima, the other from Wild Orchid Crafts. If you want a superb range of flowers, well priced, with postage costs that don't send you bankrupt, I can recommend Wild Orchid Crafts.

So, another weekend is here...this time it looks like it'll be a fine one:-) Hope it's delightful whatever you get up to.

Thanks for visiting....
