CASE Study Signature Style Challenge

CASE Study 54 narrow

Well - big day here enjoying all the action of.....

....a Netball Carnival.

Always lovely to see them all out there, winning some and of course losing some too.

Unfortunately then you come home and try to catch up on the piles of washing that need to be brought in and folded...all the Mums out there know exactly what I'm talking about *eye roll*

Anyway, washing's all organised so here I am to share a card I created last night for Iwona's current CASE Study Challenge.

What a fab challenge it is too...hardly a challenge really cause you get to create with your "Signature Style"....what could be better than playing with all the goodies you love most:-))

For me that would mean soft colours/a Crafty Secret scrap/flowers/distressed edges/inking/the Doily Lace Punch/some real lace and pearls........in my book YUM YUM YUM :-)) Here's my card....

I hope you've had a lovely weekend and a chance to recharge your batteries ready for another busy week. I'm struggling with the fact that in a few days it's the first of September...oh my lord...the year is flying!!

Thanks for dropping by to check out my little corner of blogland...see you again soon.

Well, I don't manage to post all week and then I put up two in one night....go figure hey lol.

I was on a mission remember to take part in a challenge tonight and I chose Mona's CR84FN36...one of my favourites:-)

Here's the sweet colour combo....

CR84FN36+Graphic

Lucky for Authentique's Blissful 6x6 Bundle or I would have been stumped for the yellow....I'm not a fan of yellow per se but I do like the papers in this pack...some of them, like this birdcage print I absolutely adore to be honest:-))

I

also adore those Tattered Angels chipboard frames....and add a bit of glitter, even better:-)

Better get over and link this ....hopefully I'll be in time:-)

Cheers...

Paper Pieced Fun

Paper piecing card narrow

In this month's Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine there is a great article on paper-piecing. The magazine gives you 5 templates designed by Greg Sukendro and they are all fabulous. I was lucky enough to play with a beautiful Cameo template and had a lovely time putting this sweet Queen together.

The other templates include a sweet hanging birdhouse, a cupcake stand and a hot air balloon....all very trendy images in the design world at present.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start wherever you are.

At our place DD has been called into work early, DH is fishing with a mate and DS is veging out upstairs.....so it's all very quiet here in my craft room.

Think I'll potter with a new card in between laundry loads;-)

Thanks for popping in and leaving your kind comments - love to hear from my blog readers and then I can follow back to your blog and see what you've been up to too...even better:-))

Cheers!
