Once Upon a Sketch for November

Being a Woman close up 2

Well I did make it back this weekend :)

Actually I've been very productive - I've been to a staff dinner, a friends birthday high tea, finished the December Card Kit for Shop and Crop aaaand finished a layout just for fun:-) And it's not even midday Sunday yet! More crafty time this afternoon:-)

I've had a lovely play with the current Once Upon A Sketch Nov Challenge....here's the fab sketch....

November 15th
The thing I love about these sketches is they come with a journalling criteria as well....I am very keen about journalling on my layouts  and making sure little stories get told....here's the criteria for this month....

Journalling criteria: This time the journalling criteria focuses on YOU as a woman OR ANY female in your life. What is the best thing about being a woman? Motherhood? Shopping? Make Up? Girls nights? Gossip? Your journalling can be as long as you wish and in any language, but you must journal at least 2 sentences on the best part of being a woman.
So here's my layout.....
Being a Woman
I have used Glitz Designs Beautiful Dreamer products. My journalling is on the pull out tag....

Love that sweet florally tag:-)

Okay, I'm off to link this up....enjoy the rest of your weekend.

See you soon....

Hey there...hope you're having a great week!

I just loved Kaisercraft's English Rose collection and made these cards for Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine.....a while ago now....they're in this month's mag.

Such pretty bibs and bobs:)

Well TGIF tomorrow hey! With a busy weekend ahead you won't see much of me - a staff dinner, a friend's birthday celebration and my DT Card Kit to complete for Shop and Crop I'm going to be a busy little bee....plus running DD here, there and everywhere now that her school year has come to an end - her social calendar is better than mine BY FAR!

Have a good one.....

.....yep Schoolies. And no he's not in this pic courtesy of goldcoast.com.au. Let's hope he can avoid all media attention over the coming days!

So what better way to keep my mind busy than to scrap a page about my firstborn....using the current sketch and word over at Bird is the Word Challenge.

What a fantastic sketch huh!!

With the word "Wish" to be used on the layout it gave me the perfect opportunity to scrap a page outlining all I wish for, for my darling boy.....you'll see a Maya Rd kraft envie on my layout which contains the letter I wrote him today full of my wishes and dreams for him for his future.

My Wish for you

I had a wonderful time playing with all the goodies in the Memory Works Simple Stories Life Documented Collection Kit. Oh WOW what a kit! I love it - now I want them all :-))) They have everything you need in there....just FAB!

Hope you're having a good one whatever you're up to...thanks for popping in!
