Watercoloured Panels and a bevy of cards

Watercoloured panels HB cardCU

This week I've been busy creating a host of watercoloured panels and a pile of cards from them. You know the technique where you smoosh Distress Inks down on your craft mat, spray with water and then smoosh your watercolour paper down in the ink? - well that's what I've been doing - here are the results -

...and here are the cards I've made so far - using 4 of the panels - can't believe I still have 5 left!

...and now I'm off to lesson #4 in the current Online Card Class - where I'm having lots of fun:)

Have a happy Saturday!

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!

Hope you're having an awesome day celebrating this fabulous country of ours:)

It was love at first sight for me and this Mama Elephant Sentiment set - oh look at that gorgeous font!

SPLENDID_grande

I couldn't wait to make that big sentiment the star of the show on my card.

I watercoloured a whole bunch of sentiments and this is the first card I've made...

Hooray WC Card

I inked up the sentiment with Distress Inks Salty Ocean; Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed before spraying lightly with water and stamping.

The cute balloon is from MFT's Sweet Birdie Wishes Stamp Set....coloured with Prismas:)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
