Sending Thanks

GUEST TUTOR card Sending Thanks narrow

Hi there - I hope your weekend is off to a great start:)

Just popping in to share a recently created card inspired by Laura Bassen's blending technique....

I certainly had lots of ink blending fun with this one :)

I use a mixture of inks - both Distress and Memento usually and they work beautifully.

Thanks for dropping in to see what I've been up to.

Wonderful Watercolours

Project 1 Wonderful Cardnarrow

I've had heaps of fun for Scrapbook Boutique playing with MFT's Modern Blooms Stamp Set.

I've heat embossed the blooms before indulging in a little water colouring...

there's a full step by step over at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.

Hope you're having a fabulous week!

See you again soon...

With Sympathy

Sympathy Card KC stencil narrow

Never a happy card to make but I am trying to have a few sympathy cards in my stash

for when I unfortunately may need one -

Sympathy Card KC stencil

The stencil is from Kaisercraft and the sentiment is from Penny Black's Heartfelt Stamp Set.

I've blended with white pigment ink first before moving the stencil a titch and blending with Distress Inks Faded Jeans, Pumice Stone and Tumbled Glass.

Have a great start to the weekend!
