A Trio of Colours

Trio of Colours for Throwback Challenge narrow

I can't believe it's nearly a week since I've posted.

I'm missing my normal routine of crafting with life getting just a bit hectic at the moment :(

It's taken me all week to complete this card with only snippets of time here and there. It's a little something for the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - it's a Throwback Challenge - and I'm throwing back to August and the Trio of Colours Challenge. I've used my Pink, Red and Gray Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers with this begging-to-be-coloured Paper Smooches stamp...

A tangle of silver thread and a smattering of sparkly enamel dots and I'm done :)

I'll add this over at the SSS Work it Wednesday Challenge which is to make a Thank You Card.

Thanks for popping in...see you again sooner rather than later I hope :)

Having a ball for Scrapbook Boutique

Hi there :)

I've been having fun for Scrapbook Boutique this month with the cute Sweet Smiles Stamp Set.

I dearly remember the red gumball machine I was given from friends for my 21st birthday - full of PK Blue Chewing Gum (which I loved at the time lol).

I had that in mind as I coloured my card....with my zigs which I adore :)

Oct 22 Card

I have made it into a shaker card so head to the Scrapbook Boutique Blog for step-by-step instructions and lots more pics.

Bye for now...

Fading Doodle Buds

 Fading Watercolours teal narrow

Hi there! I hope you've had a wonderful Tuesday:) Have you had any time to make a few Chrissy cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive yet? They've started to come in and it's so wonderful to feel the love - thank you beautiful people - keep them coming!

I'm not sharing Chrissy cards just yet but have a couple of cards today where I painted on a little water to take away the Distress Ink colour from the image....here, you'll see what I mean...

Fading Watercolours blue

The background is a blend of Distress Inks and once the flowers from W Plus 9's Doodle Buds Set are white heat embossed over the top I then went in with an aqua brush and took away some of the colour...an idea from the Water Colour OCC I think...here's a close up...

...and another in a fave colour combo - aaaah teal:)...

Thanks for dropping by to see what I've been up to...love to see you.
