Wedding Card

Woohoo it's Friday! And Friday afternoon even better:-))

Do you have a lovely weekend planned? 

Ours should be pretty good....we're off to catch up with friends tomorrow who recently had twins (aaaawwwww) and then Sunday should be pretty cruisey, doing whatever we please:-) Well apart from the washing etc lol.

Anyways, what about a card to carry you into the weekend?

My SIL asked if I'd make a card for a friend's wedding...she gave me the colours and chose a style and I'm glad to say she was very happy with the end result so phheeewww for that :-)))

Here 'tis....

I love that Jamara Embossing Folder....and always nice to coordinate the inside and the envie too.

Just a shot of the glossy black embossing...... makes a card that much more special.

Alrighty, I have a cheesecake to make for our luncheon tomorrow and scrapbooking calling my name so that's my night planned for me.....hope you enjoy whatever you get up to too:-)

A Sunday update.....

Good morning....how's your Sunday shaping up so far??

It's a rainy, gloomy one here but we're snuggled inside with the fire going.....and a chinese laundry growing in front of it as I endeavour to get a week's worth of washing dry lol. Yes the dryer is doing it's best too!

My day at the Papercraft Expo was lovely...I have just finished unpacking my bags of delicious crafting goodies:-) We spent a few hours browsing the stands before we attended a Copic class and I then scooted home for this....

...our boy's Year 12 Formal....that's him grinning up at the camera.

...and another at home before the event....

It was so lovely to see them all arrive in their swish cars and see how grown up and glamorous they all looked....

...there he is on the left. I can't wait to hear more about the night...when he finally gets home....currently they're having brunch at a local golf club.....aaaaah what a life:-)

So, you probably didn't pop in to hear about my son's formal huh....I do have a card to share too!

I had an order for a few wedding cards last month and here's the final card I made....

Well in the time it's taken me to write up this post...the sun has started to shine....I wonder what the rest of the long weekend will have in store?

Wedding Cards

Hey there....I hope you're having a lovely Saturday!

DD and I headed off to the movies last night.....she had free tickets to this....

We did enjoy it....thought Ginnifer Goodwin and Colin Egglesfield were gorgeous - gave us lots to talk about afterwards over a hot chocolate at Gloria Jeans. It was lovely I could see it with her cause DH would not have enjoyed it.

Apparently it's International Scrapbooking Day today.....that's a good enough excuse for me to be papercrafting....like I need any excuse right lol :-)

I have had an order for a few Wedding Cards so thought I'd show you the first two that I have finished...in very different styles....

Stamp is from the Inkadinkado Wedding Set and papers are from Kaisercraft's After Five paper pad.

Silhouette couple stamp from the same set, American Crafts Glitter cardstock and Jamara Embossing Folder.

That's about as CAS as it will ever get for me I think. :-))

Alrighty I have a baby card almost finished and then a card to create for the next Cardabilities Sketch so I'm off. Have you finished your card for the current Cardabilities Sketch #30....you still have time and there's a great CD to be won from The Technique Junkie....hope to see your card in the Gallery.

Shabby Tea Room and Moxie Fab Combo

 

Hey there...hope you're having a great start to the weekend.

I've been on a cleaning kick here this morning....feeling good that rooms that weren't spick and span now are:-))

Now that I've picked up DD from work I plan to kick back quietly for the rest of the afternoon....well just as soon as I get the 5 loads of washing in off the line:-))

But before I do that how about I share my card from last night.....I've combined the colours from Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger....it had me at the spots;-) with the current Shabby Tea Room Bingo Challenge....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For The STRm you have to get 3 in a row like Bingo....I combined Gems/glitter and ribbon and also Gems/Flowers and Punches.

 
I made the leaves out of ribbon....the gems are from Basic Grey, large flower is Kaiser, the others I made with the MFT Mini Rolled Roses die.....glittered word is a Doodlebug Design adhesive transfer with DBD glitter.

 
I think it makes a beautiful wedding or anniversary card:-)

Patterned papers are a mixture....orange from MME Stella and Rose Mabel, yellow spot from OA and orange/cream from Kaisercraft's Devonshire range.

 
I just love these sweet little rolled roses....love playing with them.

Hey there....yaaaay for Fridays! Hope you had a good one!

I've been a busy little bee finishing off my April Card Kit for Shop and Crop which I can't show you til next week.......but here's something for Shop and Crop I can share....using Crate Papers elegant Portrait line....absolutely perfect for Wedding Cards so here's two....

 
 
 
These are such pretty colours together I think....and love the sweet silhouettes:-)

So, any big weekend plans out there??? Not us....some shoppping (for DS's birthday) and some crafting in between the usual chores of course...wonder if it's gong to be wet as they're predicting??

I shall be back to share my creative efforts from tonight....I'm working on Tuesday's Trigger for The Moxie Fab World combined with the current challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room....and having heaps of fun getting it all together at the moment:-))

With DH bringing home Chinese for dinner what's not to love huh :-))))
