September Card Kit at Shop and Crop

You will have a heap of fun with the September Card Kit at Shop and Crop.

It is full of fabulous goodies from October Afternoon's Boarding Pass Range and you can make these 4 cards (my instructions included) plus another 4 of your own (at least) with the bits and pieces that are left....

The Chipboard pieces are heaps of fun:-)

 

Thanks to this great kit I now have some cards in my stash for friends and family who head off to see the world....they will come in very handy :-))

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge

Hey there......Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there! I hope you are enjoying your special day!

Mine started with gifts and breakfast in bed.....a big cooked brekkie....delicious! My main present will hopefully be here tomorrow....a big order from Papertrey Ink....I had been stalking the site for weeks waiting for the Tiny Tags Dies to be back in stock so I could finally place my order.....can't wait to get my hands on my new PTI!!!

Just popping in quickly tonight to share my card for the first Verve sketch for the month of March....yes I'm running a bit behind this month....hopefully I'll have them all done by the 31st!

See the sweet Turquoise frame....I have been looking for them for aaaaggggeeeess....couldn't find them here in Oz so eventually bit the bullet and got them from OS.........and I LOVE them - LOTS :-)))

Hey there! How are you this morning? TGIF hey:-)))

Since I'm all ready to head off to work but am ever so patiently (!) waiting for two teens to get ready, thought I'd pop on here and post my latest card.

I used the latest Cardabilities sketch #25 cause I just LOVE the label shape on the front:-))

 
So I pulled out my Labels 8 Nesties, Thrift Shop papers from October Afternoon, Copics and my There She Goes Day or Night stamp set and here's the result......

Heart Cards, C4C and MFT Challenges

 
Hey there....how has your week been?

What a week it's been for many Queenslanders caught in devastating floods. There are many ways in which we can help ease the burden for those affected and a scrapping buddy of mine, Shazz is doing her bit again through her project Heart Cards. Two years ago papercrafters united to let those devastated by the Victorian bushfires know we cared and 860 cards were delivered. I have a card to share that fits the current Crazy for Challenges challenge #70....to create a thank you card.....and it uses the current My Favourite Things sketch which looks like this....

 

I grabbed a MFT digital image, some October Afternoon papers and here's the result....

 
The sentiment is from the PTI Mega Mixed Messages set. I've also used SU! brads; Lacey Circle Nesties; MS Brown Seam Binding and Copics for colouring where I didn't paper piece.

I'm baaaack!

Did you miss me??

Sorry I didn't get a couple of posts organised before our week away....I just ran out of time:-(

We've enjoyed our annual pilgramage to this wondrous location in beautiful Ballina. We've spent the week swimming, boating; shopping, reading; fishing; watching movies....and dodging the rain.

I of course must have some crafty stuff with me so here's a pic of my set up on the dining table overlooking the waters of North Creek....

....well that's what holidays are for right:-)))

This one uses another of the PTI Holiday Button Bits cuties with Basic Grey papers this time.
