I have used a few patterned papers from the 6x6 pad for my background, combined with the paper pad die cuts and Maya Rd Corrugated hearts.
Thanks for dropping in to see what I've been up to.....so glad you did:-)
If you'd like to win a few random near-new scrapping/stamping goodies in the mail please leave a comment - I'm going to start giving away a few things I've hardly used and would love them to go to good homes somewhere - random commenters will be chosen:-)
This month I worked with the Kaisercraft Kit for Shop and Crop. It was a fun bunch of goodies to play with including papers from the new 75 Cents and Basecoat Collections and matching Collectables and washi tapes :)
Head over to Shop and Crop to get your hands on this gorgeous kit with complete instructions .....and see my 2 layouts in full ....
Here in SE Qld we're drying out from days of rain - and thinking of those who are still being affected by ex-cyclone Oswald:(
I'm popping in to share another layout that has recently been featured on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog. I had a lovely time playing with Webster's Pages Park Drive Collection and this time I wanted to create something completely different to my first layout.... which was pretty and frilly.
I chose a few photos from our trip around Australia back in 2004 and got to work......
I wanted to add the story behind these photos so I created two journalling cards and tucked them in each side of my photos.
Can you believe the size of this thing!!
I had some fun with texture paste and a stencil on the trim.
....making the most of what the gorgeous coast has to offer to celebrate a dear friend's birthday:)
Last night I had fun creating my February calendar page....remember I shared my January page with you using the beautiful goodies in Kaisercraft's 365 Days range.....well here's next month's, all ready to go -
...the die cuts above come from Crate Paper's Fourteen range....they were a bit bold in colour though so I sanded them back so they would blend in better with my papers:)
I love the gorgeous font used for the Month stickers.
Here's a little look at how I'm displaying my monthly calendar page....
....on my shabby chic stand in our lounge room.
Thanks for popping in to see what I've been up to....see you again soon:-)
Hey there...I hope you're well and had a wonderful Christmas! We did :)
I'm whizzing in this arv to show you a few layouts I've recently completed for the annual Christmas Calendars that we give as gifts to my Mum and hubbies' Mum.....a tradition that has been going on for about 9 years now :)
This is the blank calendar I buy from Paper 'n Stuff at Cooranbong.....the space for the layouts measures 21cm x 21cm....they are great value at about $15.
Here's a look inside before I add all my layouts....
....and a few of the layouts I created for this year's calendars....nothing too 3D so the calendars don't become too bulky to hang on the wall iykwim :)
I hope you enjoyed that little peek into what I've been up to :)
I also hope you're having a lovely Christmas holiday period and getting to do some of the things you want to do.
My mum is visiting for a few days and this morning we headed off early to......
