Hey there.....how's your weekend shaping up so far?
It's a sunny yet rainy day here in SE Qld today....a little bit of both.
I've had a play last night with the first Verve Sketch for this month....which looks like this...
We had to choose an inspiration pic to go with it...here's mine....
So I tried to get the red onto my card and that sweet country feel iykwim....
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon Thrift Shop
Stamps: Kaisercraft Mini Clears
Ink: SU! Ruby Red
Embellishments: Martha Stewart Brown Seam Binding; Prima Flower; Kaisercraft Red Rhinestones
Tools: Decorative edge scissors; Fiskars Diamond Edge Border punch
It's so much fun playing with sweet papercrafting supplies isn't it:-)))))) Makes me so happy!
I'll be getting even more crafting time this coming fortnight as I recuperate from my Gall Bladder surgery.....yep that's what I have to look forward to on Wednesday. I've tried to fight the little blighters (Gallstones that is) for 2 months seeing a Naturopath and thinking I was making some progress until 2 nasty attacks got the better of me this week and saw me head off to the surgeon and book in for surgery asap. Gotta get my life back and stop living in limbo I tell ya!
So hopefully for you guys that means more blog posts with more creativity to be seen....that's the plan anyway;-)
Thanks for your visit today....enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Cheers!
