More fun with Brushos

Hi there - I'm popping in tonight to share some recent Brusho fun

First of all I created a couple of different backgrounds by misting my water colour card and then dropping on the Brusho colours.

I used my Kaisercraft Live Simply Quote card front die to create simple cards from my pieces...

I am enjoying the Brushos so much - it's a tonne of fun just playing with them and seeing what you get. Definitely not an exact science I can tell you lol :D

Happy last day of the working week tomorrow people - and have a fabulous weekend.

See you again soon!

Organic Blooms

Hi there - happy Saturday to you:) I hope you've had a great week.

I've been having a lovely play with Mama Elephant's Organic Blooms stamp set for Scrapbook Boutique. I pulled out my Distress Inks and went a little crazy -

After silver embossing my image it only seemed right to cut the MFT Words for Friends die from silver cardstock...I couldn't resist -

I backed the letters with blue craft foam for added colour and dimension.

I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead and can squeeze in some crafting time somewhere.

Thanks for popping in:))

40th Birthday Card for a Fishing Fanatic

Hi there - I hope you've had a great Saturday:)

I'm just popping in tonight to share a card I created this week for a friend's hubby - for his 40th birthday. As he enjoys fishing I was delighted to get the chance to play with my new Art Impressions Reel Great Guys Stamp Set.

Fishing Card straight

I created the watery background with Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China and Cracked Pistachio. I smooshed them all over my craft mat and sprayed them until the water beaded up nicely. I then pounced the card front into the ink over and over, moving quickly each time.

I coloured the image with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.

I also stamped the image onto the smooshed background and my coloured version was then cut out and adhered with foam tape on top. The next two photos show the dimension a little better...

My hubby is planning a fishing trip tomorrow - that should mean some UCT for me yaaay - Uninterrupted Crafting Time lol.

I hope your Sunday is awesome too whatever you get up to.

I'll be back on Tuesday with 3 Mudra cards and a video - hope to see you then.
