Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers Feed

A Star Flower

I'm sure like me you have those paper crafting products that you fall in love with, at first sight. That's the way it was for me when I saw these two items from Simon Says Stamp - the Star Flower stamp and Handlettered Encouragement stamp set.

It then took me a few weeks to find the time to play with them - but oh what fun I had when I did :-))

SSS Star Flower Card

I heat embossed the Star Flower with Pearl Embossing Powder and then water coloured  with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers using Dark Pink, Persian Green, Cobalt Blue, Light Green and Purple.

Love Kristina Werner's gorgeous handwriting on these sweet sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon...

Cards for Mudra

Hi there - I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Easter weekend.

I'm popping in this morning to share my recent cards and video for Mudra Craft Stamps. I am thoroughly enjoying their beautiful stamps.

The challenge at Mudra this month is Masking so I created a card and video showing the Masking technique...

40th Birthday Card for a Fishing Fanatic

Hi there - I hope you've had a great Saturday:)

I'm just popping in tonight to share a card I created this week for a friend's hubby - for his 40th birthday. As he enjoys fishing I was delighted to get the chance to play with my new Art Impressions Reel Great Guys Stamp Set.

Fishing Card straight

I created the watery background with Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China and Cracked Pistachio. I smooshed them all over my craft mat and sprayed them until the water beaded up nicely. I then pounced the card front into the ink over and over, moving quickly each time.

I coloured the image with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.

I also stamped the image onto the smooshed background and my coloured version was then cut out and adhered with foam tape on top. The next two photos show the dimension a little better...

My hubby is planning a fishing trip tomorrow - that should mean some UCT for me yaaay - Uninterrupted Crafting Time lol.

I hope your Sunday is awesome too whatever you get up to.

I'll be back on Tuesday with 3 Mudra cards and a video - hope to see you then.
