Hey there...how's your Sunday going?

I had fun playing with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge....#59 last night....sooooo much fun that I actually made two cards...one for a girl and one for a boy......with matching envelopes:0))

Girls Card - SU! DSP Rose Red Prints; Chocolate Chip Cardstock; Sticker Cafe Glitter Flower; Circle Punches

Boys Card - Kaisercraft paper - Rough and Tough range;  Circle Punches; Chocolate Chip Ink; Distressing Tool

I had so much fun with this sketch...it was an easy one for me which is always nice:-)

CPS Sketch #83

Hey there....how's your Saturday going.

After completing a few layouts for Xmas Calendars over the past couple of days I was busting to make a card last night...I've really caught the bug haven't I....love my card making AND my scrapbooking now....as if one obsession wasn't enough huh:0)

So here it is......and the CPS Sketch as well....

Papers are from SU's Spring Fling;  bird is from Prima and the "Spring has sprung" rub-on is from Karen Foster. Card is Sage Shadow and I ran it through the "Bug" and embossed it with the Stylized Flowers folder.

Alright, can't stay around and chat, there's creating to do. Hope you have some creative time this weekend too.See you tomorrow with another layout...and who knows maybe a card as well;-) I'm on holidays, might stay up all night LOL.

Mother's Day Layout

Hey there....happy weekend to you. I hope yours is going well so far. With DH and DS fishing today - the wind has f i n a l l y settled down so they can - DD and I have plans afoot to do...v e r y  l i t t l e :0)))

With 3 workshops in 6 days we had a busy start to the holidays so now we're enjoying some time at home - crafting/watching movies/playing Skip Bo....generally relaxing.

I have also finished my first layout for my Mum's 2009 Calendar....wanna see??

The Kaisercraft papers pretty much do all the work here. With lots of inking, machine stitching, a cut out accent and journalling strips and I'm all done. I won these papers at The Scrapbook Establishment about 6 months ago and I've been so wrapped up with my gorgeous SU! products I haven't touched them. I decided that I will try to use up some of my stash on the calendars....as much as I'd like to play with all my SU! goodies, I will try to use up other bits that will never see the light of day otherwise:-))

So, I'm right into calendar mode now....2 down, only 22 to go! I'll be back with more to show tomorrow.
