Beate's W'End Sketch #63

Hey's your Sunday going?

We have had a lovely day. DD and I headed off to the shops to start looking for a dress for her Year 7 presentation night coming up at the end of term. How lucky were we to come home with a dress that she is absolutely delighted with....and so am I:0)) Pretty good effort I say. Our hunt for shoes was not as successful but we'll venture further next weekend.

I've had a chance to play with Beate's Weekend Sketch's the sketch....

 wsc63.jpgand here's my card.

Urban Prairie Hi!

Using my 6x6" Urban Prairie paper pad easy to put a card together with all those matching papers. SU! Rub-Ons (flower and sentiment) punched out wth the SU! scallop punch....a perfect fit:0))

I hope you've also had a lovely Sunday and are all ready to tackle another working week.

Thanks for checking out my blog...see you again tomorrow.

CPS Sketch #87

Yaaay I've had some time to play. It hasn't been easy.....DH is out in the lounge watching "Sleepers" and what a horrible movie it is. I can hear every word and it is totally freaking me out. About boys sent to prison and what happens to them there....oh my wonder I don't watch tv...I am a wreck just listening to it most of the time. I have had to leave and go see what the kids are up to a few times just so I wouldn't hear what sounded like a particularly yucky part coming up. So, the fact I've actually finished this card is a miracle. Is anyone else like that when it comes to the stuff on tele? it is....for CPS Sketch # 87 ...

CPS #87  Using BG Urban Prairie papers again....they are sooo fave colour combo on this:-).....Cuttlebug Script EF; Stampendous sentiment.

Now, didn't I say I was going to scrapbook next? Oh dear...these card sketches are just so tempting. Must fly....Happy Sunday everyone!

My creative daughter

Hey are you on this Saturday evening?

I have had a lovely day..started out just getting jobs done around the house but then went to lunch with friends and 6 hours later got home:0)))) Isn't it amazing how a ladies lunch can just go on and on. Even at half past 5 we could've kept talking - but felt we should get home to our families;-)

So, no creative time for me yet today...hopefully soon though:-) Buuuut, DD had asked me to prepare a kit for her (like I do for my workshops) so she could make Makeesha's Horizontal Pocket Card  in her favourite colours. So she had a play with that while I was out and wow she did a fabulous job. Here.....what do you think?

T's Horizontal Pocket Card  Isn't it pretty! Colours are Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink. The only bit I did was the crop-o-diled holes in each scallop. All the rest she did herself including using the Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement of the sentiment on her tab. Well done Missy Moo I say:-))

Anyway, I'm off to surf some blogs and see what you've all been up to and then create something myself....think I'll start with a card for either the CPS sketch or Beate's w'end sketch challenge. Either way I'll have fun:-)

Hope you do too....thanks for visiting.
