2 Sketches 4 You Card

Hey there...how are you today?

It's great to be back:0) Did you miss me?

I've spent the last few days like a bear with a sore head and have been unable to do little more than sleep or lie around....how annoying! I have hated not having even enough energy to sit up let alone create anything...that is the pits!! I have missed it so much and thankfully this afternoon I've been able to make a little something.....aaaah feels good:-)

I loved Kazan's Sketch over at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog....it looks like this.....

I was so keen to use up a few bits and pieces that I had received from Carla, especially the Making Memories Noteworthy Journalling Card.....so I thought for a while about how I could incorporate something that said "What I learned" onto my card and came up with this............

....as you know DD turned 13 last weekend so this is a little something for her with a few random, fun, confidence building facts listed inside....I was thinking that I could even incorporate it onto a layout down the track:0) Here's the inside.........

Papers are Basic Grey; swirly pink journalling transparency is Hambly;stamped alpha is Karen Foster Snap Stamps (still love 'em Vyc:-)); flowers are Making Memories I think and the white scalloped strip is a Doodlebug Paper Frill.

Well I had so much fun playing around with this.....thank goodness I'm on the mend...I couldn't stand it for much longer...and I'm sure the family couldn't stand me much longer, being sick either. Well thanks for popping into my blog today...hopefully back to regular, daily programming again now:-)) See you tomorrow....
