Graduation Layout

Hey there - how are you today?

Well this was a pretty quick one but that's not such a bad thing for a change is it:-))

Another 8 x 8" layout for my Mum-in-Law's 2009 Calendar....her eldest grandson off to his Year 12 formal a couple of weeks ago....they make a stunning couple don't you think?...and what about that gorgeous car:-)

Todd's Graduation

Papers are Kaisercraft, congrats stamp is SU!, punched with the SU! Scallop Square Punch and the scroll is clip art....well I needed something graduation specific so.....LOL.

I'm off to get busy preparing for a workshop I have tomorrow. I hope you have a great Friday....

Thanks for visiting my blog.

See you again tomorrow.

CPS Sketch # 92

Shabby Poinsettias (3)

Hey there...how are you today?

I hope everyone is staying well. After being down and out for those few days I am sooooo appreciating feeling well again. Makes me realise how much I just take my health for granted. And how I do tend to run myself down. Do too much, stay up too late, that sort of thing. I tell myself that I will go to bed earlier but I can't resist just a little more craft time....I bet you know exactly what I'm talking about. And my DH thinks I'm the only one:-) Huh, I know better!!

Anyway, enough of my rambling....I had so much fun creating this card for the latest CPS Sketch which looks like this.....

Here's my card.........

Shabby Poinsettias1

Everything is Stampin' Up!...except for the material....that's been in my stash since last Christmas when I saved it from a present I received. Papers are Dashing; Scallop Edge punch (available after Dec 1), poinsettia is from the Season of Joy set, coloured with Pretty in Pink and Real Red and covered with Dazzling Diamonds....I'm getting a bit addicted to that stuff:0)) Sentiment is from Short and Sweet.

That brings my Christmas Card grand total to........36!!! Woohoooo....happy with that;-)))

Thanks so much for visiting my blog....I love having visitors:-)

See you again tomorrow....

2 Sketches 4 You Card

Hey there...how are you today?

It's great to be back:0) Did you miss me?

I've spent the last few days like a bear with a sore head and have been unable to do little more than sleep or lie around....how annoying! I have hated not having even enough energy to sit up let alone create anything...that is the pits!! I have missed it so much and thankfully this afternoon I've been able to make a little something.....aaaah feels good:-)

I loved Kazan's Sketch over at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog....it looks like this.....

I was so keen to use up a few bits and pieces that I had received from Carla, especially the Making Memories Noteworthy Journalling Card.....so I thought for a while about how I could incorporate something that said "What I learned" onto my card and came up with this............

Kazan's Sketch #14 2S4You ....as you know DD turned 13 last weekend so this is a little something for her with a few random, fun, confidence building facts listed inside....I was thinking that I could even incorporate it onto a layout down the track:0) Here's the inside.........

Kazan's Sketch #14 2S4You Inside

Papers are Basic Grey; swirly pink journalling transparency is Hambly;stamped alpha is Karen Foster Snap Stamps (still love 'em Vyc:-)); flowers are Making Memories I think and the white scalloped strip is a Doodlebug Paper Frill.

Well I had so much fun playing around with this.....thank goodness I'm on the mend...I couldn't stand it for much longer...and I'm sure the family couldn't stand me much longer, being sick either. Well thanks for popping into my blog today...hopefully back to regular, daily programming again now:-)) See you tomorrow....
