Would you like to put your creative skills to good use?
Here's some info about a fantastic cause that you can easily get involved in to help Australian children who are neglected, often abused and at risk. Please go HERE to read all about the SCKC - or Southern Cross Kids Camp. You can help these great kids by scrapping 6x6" pages for their camp albums....the site linked will give you all the background information.
I'd like to share the email I received from Julie Stone who is the coordinator of this awesome project...it will help answer some questions you may have and will show you how EASY it is to HELP...
Hi Linda
Thanks for your generous offer of help! Every little bit helps so please feel free to do as many as you can manage! Below is a little bit of info I have sent everyone so far.........
If you need any more details, let me know. But basically albums are for 20 pages .......6x6 with a mat if you choose to suit a 5"x3.5" photo and a spot for journaling. The buddies get a pack of stickers and embellishments to complete the pages once the photos have been attached.
So simple is best and we need BOYS pages or bright primary colours that will suit either gender. Having said that though, feel free to create whatever you want with the goodies you have stashed! The pages are due by mid/late Feb, that will give us enough time to kit them up & post them etc for the April camps. However we will take pages whenever you are ready, they will simply be kitted ready for camps beyond the April ones.

So as you can read for yourself, this is a very worthy cause that we scrappers can all be a part of - you just send in as many 6"x6" pages as you can....every little bit helps!
I'm off to start my first batch of pages now...I hope you will too.
