Echo Park Chrissy Cards and Tags

Hey's your Monday been? I hope you've had a good one!

Popping in to share with you the cards/tags I've recently created for Shop and Crop....using the sweet Echo Park Christmas papers. I am really liking these Echo Park lines...the papers are great quality and they are coming up with some fantastic patterns/colours/combos.

Apologies for the last 2 photos being smaller.....we're back to dial up speed after I used up all our Broadband for this month while I've been on leave...naughty me...can't blame the kids this month lol.

I've been very creative the last few days finishing off a set of 6 thank you cards that DH needed and completing six 21cm x 21cm layouts for the calendars I give to my Mum and MIL each Christmas.

I'll be back to share more over the coming days.

Until then....take care!

Hey you doin'?

Thanks so much for heading over to the Aussie Scrap Source Blog and voting for my aqua/pink card....if you haven't done so yet there's still time.......Cheers!  :-))

I had so much fun with the Play Date Cafe Challenge from last week (and managed to pick up a Fab 4 blinkie too:-)) so thought I'd play again this week....couldn't resist this pretty combo of colours actually...what do you think?

Here is what I came up with....

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #96 for my layout which looks like this....

Cardstock:  Whisper White

Patterned Paper:  Kaisercraft Lush 6x6 paper pad; old text paper

Stamps:  SU! Upsy Daisy and PTI Mega Mixed Messages

Ink:  Cameo Coral; Pretty in Pink and Ruby Red

Embellishments: wire edged ribbon; American Crafts lemon brad; Kaisercraft pearl; Provo Craft Tiny Tags Die; Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.

Tools: cuttlebug; hot glue gun.

I coloured up the piece of text paper with the SU! ink pads...rubbing them on a glass mat first, spraying over that with the Glimmer Mist and then placing my text paper on top and smooshing it down.

I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge....they seem to push me a little out of my comfort zone which is probably all good in the long run lol.

Alrighty I'm off...gotta start on the Xmas calendars x 2 this weekend....feeling the pinch as ususally I'm well underway by now...tsk tsk!

See you soon....

Verve Week 3

Hey there....I hope you've had a great week!

I'm back to share my card for week 3 of the Verve Challenges over at Splitcoast. This week we had to choose a card from the newest dirty girl Jackie Pedro's Gallery and CASE it.....well that's not too hard now is it :-))

I fell in love with this beautiful card of Jackie's and because I had that stamp set I kept the flowers, layout and colours the same and played with the embossing, ribbon and extra embellies.
