Doily Delights

Websters Paper Doily Card narrow

Well it's Tuesday night already...the week seems to be going quickly doesn't it:-)

I'm popping in to share a card that's in the latest Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine....I had lots of fun glittering up a doily....which I'd seen done on Anabelle O'Malley's blog.

Always fun to play with Websters Papers too....Papertrey Ink sentiments.....and seam binding....and Nestability Lacey Circles and sweet little Prima flowers:-))

As much as I'd like to be I probably won't be around for the next Mum comes down on Friday, on Saturday we hit the shops for a bit of Retail Therapy for her....and then Sunday hubbie and I head off here to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary....

Beautiful Kingscliff:-)

Can't wait:-)) Three days to ourselves - while the kids look after Mum back at our place:-)

So, I'll see you when we return rested and rejuvenated:-)

My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenge

Feeling Groovy narrow

I am back to share my card for the My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch and the deets...

Along with the sketch, you must use this theme: Song Lyrics – you choose the song! (be sure to credit the artist{s})....

I wanted to use the MME Gertie range....and the doily stamps and colours looked pretty groovy which led me to use the song lyrics from Simon and Garfunkel's - "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)".

Well you can't say it's not bright!

...and after that I'm yearning to play with something soft and shabby so that's what I'm off to do....

see you again soon!
