Hey there....Happy Sunday morning to you!
I'm back to share my card for this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge. Charlene has given us this puurrty inspiration pic and a few guidelines to base our project on.....
.....she asks that we create a card or project with TWO PATTERNED PAPERS (manufactured or handmade), FOUR BUTTONS AND SIX LAYERS!
I just love the look of all those sweet coloured doilies all lined up - I was inspired to die my own doily, incorporate some of the same colours and then it was no mean feat to limit it to JUST 6 layers.......I really wanted to add a flower or ribbon/twine....but the whole "just 6 layers" deal put an end to that lol :-)
Anyway here's my card....
Patterned Paper: MME Fine and Dandy
Stamps: TSG Sentimental
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa; Distress Ink Refills to colour doily - Worn Lipstick and Faded Jeans
Embellishments: Glimmer Mist (Turquoise) on Tattered Angels Regal Ornate Chipboard Frame; Fine and Dandy Pom Pom Trim; Buttons from Spotlight
I hope you have a lovely Sunday ahead of you....thanks for visiting my little piece of blogland:-)
I'll be back - I have more to share soon!
Linda

I love the way you struggled with 'just 6 layers', I can have trouble with 2 sometimes! Your card looks fabulous, love how you have added the bright red ribbon and your teal frame with that gorgeous sentiment is fantastic!
