Peony Bouquet

I couldn't wait to play with Altenew's Peony Bouquet stamp set and have a pretty simple one layer card to share today.

I began by stamping the Peony outline with Gold Delicata Ink. The layers were then stamped with Altenew's Frosty Pink and Coral Berry inks and the final shading layer with Gold again.

I masked off the centre portion and blended Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Inks around the edge.

I then splattered water drops and blotted them up with a tissue.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Happy Birthday stamp set...love the sweet dots.

A few coloured pearls, star sequins and Gold Colorshine splatters and my card is done :)

Really beautiful - the gold outline is super! I had to buy that set too as soon as I saw it - delivery was speedy, wasn't it? Love your one-layer card Linda - not sure if I am brave enough to share my efforts yet lol!
