Hey there - Welcome to the Scrapbook Boutique July Blog Hop and Challenge.
There are two fun things for you to do - the Blog Hop and the Challenge -
- first of all..... hop along on the Blog Hop - you should have arrived here from Ann's gorgeous blog and from here you'll hop on to see Louise's fab project.
- Leave a comment at each DT girl's blog and then finish with a comment on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog itself where the random winner will be drawn.
- Just for hopping you can win a $10 Gift Voucher to spend at the awesome Scrapbook Boutique store.
You have one week....the hop closes midday July 17 and the winner will be announced on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog soon after. Good Luck!
(Head back to the SB Blog if you lose your way - you'll find the complete Blog Hop list....hop and challenge open to Australian and New Zealand residents only.)
Next - pull out your craft supplies and get busy with this month's Inspiration Challenge - we have another amazing mood board to inspire you.
These boards were created by Audrey T who has kindly given Scrapbook Boutique permission to use them.
Here is the board for July -
So much fun inspiration on this one board!
For me it was all about the glistening lights or bokeh effect in the bottom right shot - that totally inspired my creation as you'll see ...
For my bokeh sponging I used a sponge dauber and a handmade stencil - I die cut a variety of circles from a piece of acetate - here's a quick look -
For the blue circles I used Memento Luxe Teal Zeal Ink and Versa Colour Cyan.
Glitter paper tops off the sparkling lights effect.
You have until July 31 to get your entry in.
The randomly chosen winner will receive a $30 Gift Voucher to Scrapbook Boutique -
what an awesome prize!
Full details and linking instructions over on the blog.
Can't wait to check out your creations.....have fun!

beautiful card, I had heard of the Bokeh technique but had not seen it before, very effective. I have dozens of old x rays they would make excellent stencils... Just might have to give this ago Thankyou....

I loved reading your bokeh process. I've always admired it but had no idea how to get the look. It's such an effective card and the sparkle just finishes it beautifully. Love it!
