Hi there - I hope you've had a great Saturday:)
I'm just popping in tonight to share a card I created this week for a friend's hubby - for his 40th birthday. As he enjoys fishing I was delighted to get the chance to play with my new Art Impressions Reel Great Guys Stamp Set.
I created the watery background with Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China and Cracked Pistachio. I smooshed them all over my craft mat and sprayed them until the water beaded up nicely. I then pounced the card front into the ink over and over, moving quickly each time.
I coloured the image with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.
I also stamped the image onto the smooshed background and my coloured version was then cut out and adhered with foam tape on top. The next two photos show the dimension a little better...
My hubby is planning a fishing trip tomorrow - that should mean some UCT for me yaaay - Uninterrupted Crafting Time lol.
I hope your Sunday is awesome too whatever you get up to.
I'll be back on Tuesday with 3 Mudra cards and a video - hope to see you then.
xLinda
Love the sea spray background Linda, it really adds fun to the stamped image.
