The Altenew Ampersand for Christmas

Hi there - happy Thursday to you! I hope you're having a great week.

Last time I played with this ampersand I created a 60th Wedding Anniversary Card - well today I've used it for a Christmas card instead.

Merry & Bright main

A beautiful sparkly Christmas Card!

First I created the stamped panel with Concord and 9th's Deck The Halls Turnabout Stamp Set.

I stamped this panel while spending time with Therese for World Cardmaking Day a while back - I was enjoying her Catherine Pooler Inks for the first time.

The colours I used were Fiesta Blue, Skylight, Aquatini and Seafoam.

I smeared a thin layer of Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone all over this stamped piece and allowed it to dry.

I then die-cut the Altenew Ampersand Die out of the stamped/glimmered panel and raised it up with craft foam for the Camouflaged Die-Cutting technique.

Merry & Bright side

The 'Merry' and 'Bright' are from an older Tim Holtz set.

The sparkle in real life is totally gorgeous -

Do you need to make many Christmas cards this year?

I usually try to make about 50 and am on track so far - I think. With a busy few weeks ahead hope I can still add to my growing pile - fingers crossed :0)

Bye for now...
