Hey there - I hope you're having a lovely weekend:)

I've thoroughly enjoyed playing with the latest sketch over at Sketchabilities.

Look at all those awesome elements - doilies; ink rings and splatters; tags; flowers -

I had heaps of fun with this :-)))

My little baby girl - oh so many years ago - just love these sweet photos:)

Papers are from Crate Papers Fourteen range; Doily stamp from My Mind's Eye; flowers from Manor House Creations (blue/yellow and smallest flowers) and Prima; Leafy Branch Die from Cottage Cutz; acetate clocks from Kaisercraft.

Embossing on vellum for the MME doily stamps - using Stampendous Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel.

Gold rings created using Gold Acrylic paint stamped on with an empty Sorbent towel roll.

A larger ring was created with the rim of a glass.

Splatters created using watered down paint flicked off the end of a paint brush.

DD watched this layout evolve and loved it - that's what it's all about:-))

If there's one thing I love about holidays it's TIME!

Time to do more of what you want right :)

In my case that means crafting and today I played with the latest Cardabilities Sketch.

Karan creates awesome sketches I'm sure you agree.....

This one had me at hello - "hello" being the doily of course :))

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge

Hey there - I hope you're having a lovely weekend:)

I'm delighted to share with you tonight a card for this week's challenge over at 

The Shabby Tea Room.

It's been a while since I've had time to play in a challenge and I do miss them.

So glad I got time to play today:)

Tracey is hosting this week and SHABBY SUNSHINE is the theme.

We have to use the colours Aqua, Yellow and White/Cream and add twine.....fun!

Here's the sweet inspiration pic....

Papers are from Authentique-Blissful paper pad and MME Mabel.

The swirly die cut is Hero Arts Flourish die and the flower spray is new from Manor House Creations.

Wish I knew where this chipboard butterfly came from - it was in a prize pack I won -
