Masculine 50th Birthday Card

Hi there! I hope you enjoyed a fabulous Christmas as we did.

My Christmas stamps have all been packed away for another year (sob sob, I LOVE making Christmas cards!) and it's back to birthday cards and a very special one indeed today - my little brother's special milestone birthday - just hope he doesn't see this before his card arrives...I think I'm safe - if not ...happy Birthday Dave - surrpriiise!!

I had fun with a new Mudra stamp set called 'Starbursts' which was perfect for this celebratory card. The fabulous firework images in this set look sooooo good heat embossed - I chose silver and gold...

The numerals are from a Papertrey Ink Die set and the sentiment is from MFT's 'Anything But Basic Birthday Wishes'. 

I started with pale blue cardstock and heat embossed the 'Starbursts' before coming in with a number of Distress Inks in blue hues (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire)

You can very easily make a masculine or feminine card with these items - by just changing up your colours or choosing the recipient's favourite colours you can personalise it to get the look you want.

With just a few days left of 2018 I'd like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope 2019 is very good to you and yours.

Baby Card and Gift

Hey there - how are you?

I hope you're having a good week so far :)

I've been busily crafting today and loving every minute of it :))

A friend of mine is soon to become a Grandma....her eldest daughter will have her own daughter in just a couple of weeks.  I have created a little something for the mum-to-be ...... a set of thank you cards....8 in total with matching envelopes.

I used lots of paper scraps for these....with Papertrey Inks Night Night Moon set - I got the idea from the PTI site when I saw similar cards by Heather Nichols.

Of course I had to make a card to go with the gift........

...and the PTI clear boxes come in handy yet again....

Love You MHC

Hey there - popping in tonight to share a recent card created for Manor House Creations showcasing these sweet flowers - Darling, Eternity, Petite roses, and MHC Rose leaves – small light green.

Papers are from Simple Stories and my trusty old dictionary :-)

The wooden heart is from Kaisercraft and has been dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

The love stamp is from Papertrey Ink's Wonderful Words Additions and the die cut word from their Wonderful Words Die Set.

Look at the sweet colours on this beautiful MHC flower - so soft and delicate with the blushed pink edges and centre :-))
