Wow look at me - two posts in one weekend! Woohoo lol :-))
I've just created a very quick birthday card for my niece - she's currently in England so that meant something flatter than I usually make - no 3D foam tape on this one lol.
Papers from Simple Stories Fabulous paper pad; dies from Papertrey Ink.
See you again soon.
Welcome to the Scrapbook Boutique June Blog Hop and Challenge :-)
There are two fun things for you to do - the Blog Hop and the Challenge -
- first of all..... hop along on the Blog Hop - you should have arrived here from Angela's gorgeous blog and from here you'll hop on to see Narelle's fab project.
- Leave a comment at each DT girls blog and then finish with a comment on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog itself where the random winner will be drawn.
- Here's the beautiful prize you could win - just for hopping!
You have one week....the hop closes midday June 17 and the winner will be announced on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog on June 18. Good Luck!
(Head back to the SB Blog if you lose your way - you'll find the complete Blog Hop list....hop and challenge open to Australian residents only.)
- Next - pull out your craft supplies and get busy with this month's Inspiration Challenge - it's perfect for all the princesses in your life!
Be inspired by these sweet cupcakes and make sure your project is "Fit for a Princess"
Here's mine -
I enjoyed dabbling with a little paper piecing for this one.......
You have until June 30 to get your entry in.
The randomly chosen winner will receive a $30 Gift Voucher to Scrapbook Boutique - what a generous prize!
Full details and linking instructions over on the blog.
Can't wait to check out your creations.....have fun!
I have 3 cards in Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine Vol 18 No.5 that were a real labour of love. I'm not going to kid you - these cards took me aaaggggees to make lol :-) I had just received new goodies from Papertrey (the Wonderful Words Dies and matching stamps and a few cardstock colours) and I was so keen to play around with them together.
Here's the end result....
....lots of sentiments from a variety of companies.....all listed in the mag which is very helpful. Of course you can use whatever sentiment and decorative stamps you have in your stash to do the same thing.
Papers used are from Prima's Madeline A4 paper pad.
I love these PTI products - sadly I've hardly played with them since.....it's sad how that happens in our crafty lives isn't it - new things catch our eye and we forget the old - must make a concerted effort to remedy that! They would be great on my layouts me thinks :-))
I'm off to play with my Shabby Tea Room creation for this week - with this gorgeous inspiration how could I resist!.....
I'm having fun with a sweet, shabby layout instead of a card this time.....will be back to share soon.
Have a lovely weekend all!
