Making a 3D Glittered, Alcohol Inked Sentiment - Mama Elephant

Hi there! Welcome to the weekend - for my Aussie readers at least lol. Northern Hemisphere girls you're nearly there :)

Today I'm sharing a fun play I had with the new Big Happy Birthday Die Cut from Mama Elephant.

ME HP Main

I had a fun time playing with my Alcohol Inks and then getting my glitter on. If you'd like to see how my card was created, please enjoy the video below or in HD on my YouTube Channel -

I have the Alcohol Pearls on their way to me now and can't wait to play with them too - they look so vibrant from what I've seen.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. We're celebrating hubbies birthday on Sunday with brunch by the creek so that should be fun.

Bye for now...

A One Layer Wonder

I have been enjoying  Kelly Latevola's 'One Layer Wonders Class' (for Altenew) and have a card to share with you today based on Lesson 3.

One Layer Wonder main

I've used Mama Elephant's 'Organic Blooms' stamp set for the focal image.

The sentiment is from the gorgeous Stampendous set called 'Big Words Thanks'

One Layer Wonder CU

It was fun playing with a new to me technique. Next time I want to try it with Distress Inks instead of the Oxides.

Hope your week is off to a good start.

Bye for now...

Real Ruff :-)

Couldn't resist playing with an older Mama Elephant set today - the sweet little 'Playful Pups'.

First I created a stencilled background using The Paper Mill Splatter stencil (from Riot) and Distress Oxide Inks.

Once I'd Copic coloured the forlorn little pup sitting beside his full food bowl (something you would never see in our house)

there didn't seem to be any other sentiment that would match his mood - poor little love.

I hope you're not feeling at all forlorn on this fabulous day...although it is Monday so hmmmmm ha ha!

Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you again soon...
