The Shabby Tea Room Challenge

Hey there....Happy Sunday morning to you! 

I'm back to share my card for this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge. Charlene has given us this puurrty inspiration pic and a few guidelines to base our project on.....

.....she asks that we create a card or project with TWO PATTERNED PAPERS (manufactured or handmade), FOUR BUTTONS AND SIX LAYERS!

I just love the look of all those sweet coloured doilies all lined up - I was inspired to die my own doily, incorporate some of the same colours and then it was no mean feat to limit it to JUST 6 layers.......I really wanted to add a flower or ribbon/twine....but the whole "just 6 layers" deal put an end to that lol :-)

Anyway here's my card....

Patterned Paper: MME Fine and Dandy

Stamps: TSG Sentimental

Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa; Distress Ink Refills to colour doily - Worn Lipstick and Faded Jeans

Embellishments: Glimmer Mist (Turquoise) on Tattered Angels Regal Ornate Chipboard Frame; Fine and Dandy Pom Pom Trim; Buttons from Spotlight

The Shabby Tea Room and Skipping Stones Designs

Hey...it's me again! 

I had some time this arv to play with the current Shabby Tea Room challenge and hopefully I'll link it up before the deadline:-) I combined TSTR and Skipping Stone Designs challenges.....one a colour combo the other to choose your own sketch for the week......I chose #74....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well I took the sketch VERY literally......here you go....

Papers are Bo Bunny's Gabrielle line.

That sweet butterfly cluster makes me smile.

My darling family also make me smile...they just surprised me with a "Love You Mum" chocolate cake for dessert.....just the Woolies variety chocolate mud cake but still very sweet of them all the same.
