My Scrap Room

Hey there...I hope you're having a great weekend.

Wish I had something creative to share but everything of late has been for DT stuff which you will see soon. Today I did a little blog hopping and came across a few scrap rooms which got me motivated to do a clean up in my own humble space.

So I thought why not take a few piccies and show you where I can be found every night crafting my little heart out :-)

My room is tiny - only 3m square - it used to be our sons bedroom when he was a baby - until we extended, building on a second level and then it became the room under the stairs and quite perfect for my little crafting nook.

Nothing in here is fancy. But it's very functional and fairly well organised and it's MINE :-))

Pink storage rack

This gorgeous (lol) pink storer is a throw out from my daughters bedroom - rather than toss it I thought I'd put it to good use for my 6x6 paper pads and some stamp sets. Above it is my Simply Renee Clip It Up Ribbon Storer. This is what you see on the left as you walk into my room.

Beside this is the built in wardrobe......

All my papers and cardstock are stored on the top shelf, then some punches and then DT boxes of product, completed cards and on the bottom photo albums and my boxes of MHC flowers.

Around the wall from the cupboard is the door through to the garage. On the back of it I store some 12x12 paper sets....

Back of door

...and on the front of it is my border punch storage....

Around from this is my work desk and peg board storage -

To the right of my desk is an old set of drawers Pop made for the kids cupboards eons ago - it holds all my stationery supplies/ crafting tools/ adhesives/ etc.....

Cuttlebug area
....this is where I do my die cutting - it's the little space under the stairs.

Around from that is my computer hutch which stills needs a tidy up - tonights job!

You can see on my 'puter screen Michelle Grant's blog. A little blog surfing led me to her blog today and I loved her scraproom tour - in case you're into scraprooms like I am there's a little hint ;-x)

Computer hutch

....and there you have it - my happy place :-)

Thanks for dropping in to see me tonight - I'll be back to share some DT work for Scrapbook Boutique on Tuesday - hope to see you then.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Storage

Well as you know I love my "Bug" and especially the emb. folders so I had to find a way of storing my growing collection. I had this book on hand having picked it up very cheaply at Woolies one day, while grabbing the groceries. Thought I might scrap it one day....that was until it became my new storage device:) As you can see it's very rudimentary but does the trick beautifully.

Stuck 2 pages together along the bottom and side, cut a pocket out of the top so you can see the folder, stuck on a sample piece and labelled the page. As you can see it's not full yet;0)))

Well I'm off to hang out washing in the's darn cold. Nothing compared to down south I'm sure but for us Qld''s cold!

Bye for now.
